Manager, Utility & Project

Job Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other relevant Engineering disciplines.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Engineering, Utility, Facility Management, or Project Management within a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Managerial position, preferably handling Utility, Engineering, Facility, Maintenance, or Project functions.
• Experience in garment, textile, or other manufacturing industries is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of factory utility systems such as electrical systems, water systems, compressed air, HVAC, boilers, generators, and wastewater treatment.
• Proven experience in managing factory infrastructure, engineering improvement, expansion, and CAPEX projects.
• Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, contractor management, and project execution.
• Good understanding of energy management, cost efficiency, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement.
• Familiar with relevant HSE, environmental, and government regulations related to factory utilities and infrastructure.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal.

Job Descriptions :

• Manage and ensure the reliability and efficiency of factory utility systems, including electricity, water, air compressor, HVAC, boiler, wastewater treatment, and other supporting facilities.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for utility equipment and infrastructure.
• Lead and manage factory engineering, infrastructure improvement, expansion, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects.
• Prepare project plans, timelines, budgets, technical specifications, and resource requirements.
• Monitor project implementation to ensure completion within the approved timeline, budget, quality, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, contractors, vendors, and external parties throughout project execution.
• Identify opportunities for energy efficiency, cost optimization, utility consumption reduction, and process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and other applicable regulations and standards.
• Manage and develop the Utility & Project team, including manpower planning, performance management, and capability development.
• Prepare regular reports on utility performance, project progress, costs, risks, and improvement initiatives for management.
