Manager Workshop - New Car EV (Chan Sow Lin)

About your role

Join our dynamic Aftersales Workshop team supporting our fast-growing multi-brand EV operations. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth daily workshop activities by coordinating service operations, managing job flow, and supporting repair and maintenance processes.

This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, well-organized, and thrive in a fast-paced automotive environment. You will contribute to delivering high-quality aftersales service and ensuring a seamless ownership experience for our customers.

What you’ll be doing

• Oversee and manage daily workshop operations to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency.
• Monitor technician performance, productivity, and timely job completion.
• Ensure all repair and maintenance work complies with OEM standards, minimizing repeat issues.
• Lead, coach, and develop the workshop team to maintain high performance and service quality.
• Drive labor sales performance and achieve profitability targets.
• Coordinate closely with Parts and Warranty teams to ensure timely parts availability and accurate claim submissions.
• Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with safety standards, 5S practices, and proper tool management.
• Support Service Advisors in handling and resolving customer concerns effectively.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–7 years of experience in automotive workshop operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Experience in new car after-sales service and familiarity with OEM standards is an added advantage.
• Strong technical knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Good understanding of workshop processes, productivity tracking, and quality control practices.
• Familiar with warranty processes, parts coordination, and claim handling.
• Ability to manage labor efficiency, control costs, and achieve workshop KPIs.
