Manager/Assistant Manager Accounting

UNIQLO (Thailand) Co., Ltd., is now looking for the person who is interested to be a part of business expansion and establish operational excellences as “Manager/Assistant Manager Accounting” to support the business expansion and develop and implement the automate system support on accounting operation. Ensure all accounting compliance has been applied based on group policy and local regulations.

Responsibilities:

Accounting:

• Ensure accounting activities comply with group policies, internal controls, and local regulations.
• Manage general ledger accounting, including IFRS 16 leases, rental reconciliations, and fixed assets.
• Coordinate with and review Record-to-Report (RTR) shared service activities, including intercompany recharges, prepayments, and fixed asset postings.
• Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts, investigate issues, and ensure timely resolution.
• Month-end reporting analysis and movement report.
• Ensure internal control has been applied based on group policy.
• Closing year-end financial statement for both management account and local statutory ledger.
• Ad hoc project upon request.

Tax:

• Review key tax transactions, including withholding tax, VAT, property-related taxes, stamp duty, and signage tax.
• Ensure all tax compliance has been met with the tax requirement regulation.
• Lead tax registration and licensing activities for new stores/ new POS.
• Identify potential tax risks and coordinate appropriate preventive or corrective actions.

Systems & Process Improvement:

• Take a key role in accounting-related system implementations, including e-Tax and online functionalities.
• Identify and implement process improvements that strengthen efficiency, accuracy, and control.

Store Operation support and communication:

• Provide practical accounting and tax guidance to store teams and other departments.
• Develop and deliver training on accounting topics, such as CAPEX and OPEX classification.
• Coordinate with headquarters, auditors, consultants, and relevant government authorities.
• Support ad hoc projects and urgent business requirements when needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Having at least 4 years work experiences in accounting.
• Experience in retail or external audit is an advantage.
• Having analytical skills and being able to analyze financial data
• Proactive, adaptable, flexibility with Retail operation support while maintaining the accuracy, compliance, and punctuality.
• Fast execution, Proactive and good team player.
• Proficient in Microsoft excel and SAP.
• Excellent command both Thai and English
• Able to communicate and educate not only team members, but also other departments, store staffs, and overseas colleagues.
• Willingness to support urgent tasks outside normal working days when necessary

Working Hour:

• Monday to Friday from 08:00-17:00 (Able to work overtime or in holiday due to business need)
