Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse and delivery operations, ensuring timely loading, unloading, and delivery of goods
• Manage driver schedules, routes, and compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations
• Drive various vehicle types including box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles for delivery purposes
• Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques or material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks
• Ensure adherence to traffic laws, safe driving practices, and company policies during route driving
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, vehicle inspections, route documentation, and incident reports

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse operations and logistics management
• Commercial driving experience with a valid driver’s license; familiarity with box trucks, vans, or courier vehicles preferred
• Experience operating manual transmission vehicles and material handling equipment like pallet jacks
• Knowledge of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and manual handling procedures
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations, traffic laws, and weight handling in the workplace
• Ability to operate mobile devices for route navigation, delivery confirmation, or communication purposes
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and courteously
