About the role

The Compensation & Benefits Manager/Senior Manager is responsible for reviewing, designing, implementing compensations, benefits and performance related reward frameworks to ensure competitiveness, equity, regulatory compliance, and alignment with organisational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Review and implement salary and allowance frameworks, including implementing the annual salary increment and bonus payouts.
• Participate in market survey data, conduct job evaluation for new roles and provide benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive positioning.
• Perform compensation modelling and cost simulations, as well as handle the annual budget cycle.
• Review and oversee benefits administration, including renewing of insurance policies, medical claims administrations and leave provisions.
• Oversee work injury payments and insurance coverage.
• Drive the annual performance appraisal and promotion cycles.
• Review and develop performance related, and compensation and benefits policies and procedures.
• Handle all audit reviews, document follow up actions and put in preventive measures where necessary.
• Prepare approval reports, presentations and business cases to management.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for compensation related modules in HRIS.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Business or Human Resource Management or related fields. Professional certification in Compensation & Benefits, Total Rewards, or Human Resources will be an advantage.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in Compensation & Benefits, preferably with familiarity and practical working knowledge of SuccessFactors. Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for Senior Manager position.
• Knowledge of employment legislation and statutory requirements.
• Familiarity with job evaluation, salary structures, and market surveys.
• Analytical, high attention to detail and ability to handle co-current projects.
• Advance Microsoft excel and HR analytics tools.
• Strong in written, verbal and presentation skills.
• A team player with a positive mindset.
