Managing Consultant

Our client is seeking a Managing Consultant to lead a team of consultants and engineers delivering network automation solutions to enterprise clients. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership instincts, clear communication across technical and executive audiences, and the flexibility to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment. This is a fully remote position.

Managing Consultant's Responsibilities And Duties

• Manage a team of consultants and engineers delivering network automation solutions, supporting their professional and technical development
• Lead meetings that bring together technical and leadership stakeholders from both the client side and internal teams
• Communicate network architecture and automation design decisions clearly to clients and engineers
• Own and manage day-to-day relationships between the client and the delivery team
• Coach team members and client stakeholders on feedback culture, peer review, and best practices
• Partner with engagement managers and senior leadership throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful outcomes

Managing Consultant's Qualifications And Skills

• At least 7 years of professional experience leading teams and projects, with strong client and leadership communication skills
• Proven track record delivering successful projects in large, complex environments
• Networking background (CCNA or equivalent) with hands-on network automation experience
• Familiarity with Ansible and/or Python for automating networking devices
• Exposure to network data management concepts such as Source of Truth strategy, NetBox, CMDB, and YAML-based variable management
• Comfortable with traditional Git workflows in a collaborative environment
• Ability to context-switch across multiple concurrent projects
