Managing Director

For our client, we are seeking a Managing Director to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This role will oversee operational management within a complex professional services environment, with a strong focus on client service, financial discipline, and internal process excellence. The Managing Director will partner closely with senior leaders and internal business teams to support day-to-day operations, reporting, and strategic decision-making. This position will also drive improvements that strengthen efficiency, profitability, and overall service delivery.

Location: Short Hills, NJ (Hybrid) - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $203,438 – $275,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with client guidelines and reporting requirements.
• Support administrative needs, including budgets and performance metrics.
• Oversee financial management related to pitches, budgeting, and compliance.
• Monitor work-in-progress, billing, and profitability metrics.
• Serve as the liaison between partners and internal business teams.
• Lead a team to deliver exceptional client service and operational excellence.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in legal or law firm practice management.
• Strong communication skills for presenting to senior leadership.
• Proven leadership abilities in problem-solving and planning.
• Experience in strategic advisory roles in a professional setting.
