Managing Director

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company’s vision, strategic direction, business plans, and annual objectives.
• Lead and oversee overall business operations, including Manufacturing, Quality, Sales & Marketing, Finance & Accounting, Purchasing, HR, and Administration.
• Manage factory operations to achieve production targets, quality standards, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with applicable medical device/medical consumables regulations, quality standards, safety requirements, and relevant laws.
• Develop and monitor annual budgets, financial performance, operating costs, and profitability.
• Drive sales growth, business development, market expansion, and new business opportunities.
• Monitor business performance and KPIs, identify key issues, and implement appropriate corrective and improvement actions.
• Improve operational efficiency, productivity, cost management, and resource utilization across the organization.
• Oversee supply chain, purchasing, raw materials, inventory, and production planning to support business requirements.
• Lead, develop, and motivate management teams and build a high-performance organizational culture.
• Identify business risks and develop appropriate risk management and contingency plans.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, business partners, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, industry developments, and emerging opportunities to strengthen the company’s competitiveness.
• Report business performance, key risks, strategic initiatives, and recommendations to the Board of Directors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Board of Directors.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of management experience, with proven experience in a senior management position such as Managing Director, General Manager, Factory Manager, Plant Manager, or equivalent.
• Strong experience in manufacturing, factory operations, and business management.
• Experience in Medical Device, Medical Consumables, Healthcare Products, or related industries is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of production management, quality management systems, cost control, budgeting, and business planning.
• Strong strategic thinking, leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to analyze and drive business performance.
• Good command of English.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
