Managing Director

Collectius Philippines is looking for a Country Managing Director to lead its business, drive sustainable growth, and strengthen its position in the debt management and recovery industry.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for a commercially minded executive who understands the collections business, builds strong client relationships, and turns business strategy into measurable results. You will have overall responsibility for business performance, financial results, operational excellence, and market expansion, working closely with the Board and regional leadership.

What You’ll Lead

Business Strategy & Growth

• Set the direction for the Philippines business, translating company priorities into clear strategies and measurable business goals.
• Drive profitable growth, identify new revenue opportunities, and strengthen the company's market position.
• Explore strategic partnerships, business alliances, investments, and acquisitions that support long-term growth.

Financial & Operational Performance

• Take full ownership of the country's P&L, ensuring strong financial performance and effective cost management.
• Oversee daily operations, strengthen standard operating procedures, and establish sound planning and financial controls.
• Use business data, financial reports, and performance metrics to identify opportunities, address gaps, and improve results.

Client & Market Relationships

• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international clients, financial institutions, portfolio owners, collection partners, and other key market players.
• Identify opportunities to acquire new portfolios, expand existing partnerships, and grow the business.
• Maintain productive relationships with government agencies, industry stakeholders, and business partners.

Leadership & Governance

• Build and lead a strong executive team that can deliver business objectives and develop future leaders.
• Ensure that business targets, performance standards, and operational priorities are clearly understood and owned across the organization.
• Take overall accountability for company performance, governance, and operations, reporting directly to the Board.

What You Bring

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management, or a related field. An MBA or master's degree is a strong advantage.
• At least 12 years of experience in collections, preferably within a financial institution or third-party collection company.
• At least 5 years in a senior management or leadership role, with a strong track record of leading teams and delivering business results.
• At least 3 years of direct P&L management experience, including financial planning, cost control, and revenue performance.
• Strong commercial judgment and the ability to assess opportunities, solve complex business problems, and make sound decisions independently.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, particularly when working with senior executives, clients, and external stakeholders.
