Managing Director (Logistics/3PL)

The Opportunity:

Adecco is partnering with an established organization within the Global Freight Forwarding company and we are looking for a Managing Director to lead its operations in Singapore.

This executive leadership role responsible for driving commercial growth across all three core business units (Air Freight, Sea Freight, and Contract Logistics/Warehousing).

The Job:

• P&L & Country Leadership: Hold full financial accountability for the Singapore business unit. Drive top-line revenue, manage operational budgets, achieve EBIT targets, and ensure statutory compliance aligned with HQ governance standards.
• Multimodal Freight (Air & Sea): Oversee global air and ocean forwarding operations, trade-lane strategy, space procurement, and carrier relationship management.
• Contract Logistics & Warehousing: Direct local distribution centers, fulfillment sites, automation initiatives, and site-level operational teams.
• Commercial Growth: Lead business development to expand non-captive commercial accounts across key target verticals.

The Talent:

• Experience: 12+ years of senior management experience in Tier-1 3PL/ global freight forwarding organisation with proven country or major business unit P&L ownership.
• Multimodal Domain Expertise: Comprehensive operational command across Air Freight, Sea Freight, and Contract Logistics/Warehousing.
• Scale Fit: Proven track record leading multi-functional teams across operations, commercial, and shared functions in Singapore or ASEAN.
