Managing Engineer (C#/ASP.NET)

For our client, we are seeking a Managing Engineer (C#/ASP.NET) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will guide a team of software engineers while remaining hands-on in the design and development of enterprise applications. The position blends technical leadership, code contribution, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver reliable solutions that support business needs. The ideal candidate will help establish engineering best practices, strengthen code quality, and improve delivery through modern CI/CD practices.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $100,000 – $170,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers
• Design and develop enterprise applications using C#/ASP.NET
• Contribute to production code and feature development
• Review team code and provide technical guidance
• Participate in Agile planning and ceremonies
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Establish best practices for code quality and CI/CD

Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise application development with C#/ASP.NET
• 1+ year in a leadership role overseeing software engineers
• Proficient in building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience with SQL Server and T-SQL development
• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies like Vue.js, React, or Angular
• Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery practices
