M&A Analyst/Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution of buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions from initial evaluation through to completion.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses, including DCF, comparable companies and precedent transactions .
• Conduct financial, industry and company analysis to support live transactions and origination opportunities.
• Prepare pitch books, information memoranda, management presentations, buyer/target screening materials and other client-facing materials .
• Support due diligence processes and coordinate across clients, counterparties and external advisers.
• Assess potential transaction structures and strategic alternatives.
• Work closely with senior bankers on client pitches, transaction strategy and execution.
• Develop an understanding of relevant sectors, companies and M&A activity across Singapore and APAC.
• At Associate level, take greater ownership of transaction workstreams and provide guidance to junior team members.

Candidate Profile

We are interested in speaking with candidates who demonstrate:

• Approximately 1-3 years' relevant experience for Analyst-level candidates , or 3-6 years for Associate-level candidates .
• Relevant experience from investment banking, M&A advisory, corporate finance, transaction advisory or a comparable deal environment .
• Prior hands-on exposure to M&A transactions would be strongly preferred.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and accounting fundamentals .
• Ability to analyse financial statements and understand key transaction considerations.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.
• Experience preparing high-quality presentation and transaction materials.
• Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to work effectively under transaction deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A genuine interest in M&A, corporate strategy and financial markets.
