My client is a fast-growing, private equity-backed business services group embarking on one of the most significant acquisitions in its history. This transaction will serve as the cornerstone asset for an ambitious buy-and-build strategy, with multiple future bolt-on acquisitions expected to follow. As the first UK hire dedicated to integration and M&A, you will have a unique opportunity to build the post-merger integration capability from the ground up whilst also supporting the execution of future acquisitions.

Working closely with a high-calibre leadership team, including an experienced CFO, you will be embedded within the acquired business, leading integration activity through cross-functional project teams and helping establish the playbook that will underpin future growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and own the PMI framework, governance and integration playbook.
• Lead the integration of a major platform acquisition and subsequent bolt-on deals.
• Support full-cycle future M&A activity, including due diligence, business planning, integration planning, valuations, and execution.
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across Finance, HR, Technology, Operations and Commercial teams.
• Track synergy delivery, milestones and value creation initiatives.
• Act as the central project lead across acquisitions and integrations.

Candidate Profile

• Approximately 4-7 years' experience.
• Experience within M&A Advisory, Transaction Services, Integration, Carve-Out or Separation teams.
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• High emotional intelligence and the ability to influence and drive.
• Builder mentality with the desire to create processes and structure from scratch.
• Ambitious individual seeking a highly visible role within a PE-backed growth story.
