您将协助医疗机构、紧急救援（911）、执法部门、法院、保险公司、政府机构及国际企业进行电话或视频口译，在关键时刻帮助双方准确理解彼此，确保沟通顺畅无误。

工作职责

• 通过电话及视频平台提供专业的中英文连续传译（Consecutive Interpretation）。
• 为医疗、紧急救援（911）、执法机构、法院、保险、政府部门、金融机构、公共事业、旅游及商业客户提供口译服务。
• 准确传达双方的意思、语气及表达意图，保持专业、中立及客观。
• 在处理紧急或情绪敏感的对话时，保持冷静、专业及同理心。
• 在必要时协助解释文化差异，促进双方有效沟通。
• 准确使用医疗、法律及紧急服务等专业术语。
• 严格遵守客户保密协议及公司资讯安全政策。

我们希望您具备

基本要求

• 普通话流利，能够熟练听、说、读、写中文。
• 英语达到 CEFR C1 或以上水平，具备良好的听、说、读、写能力。
• 拥有良好的沟通能力及较高的情绪管理能力，能够在压力环境下保持专业表现。
• 具备优秀的专注力、倾听能力、记忆能力及笔记记录能力。
• 能够处理医疗紧急事件、意外事故、法律案件等敏感内容，并保持专业表现。
• 能够严格遵循客户要求，并快速适应不同领域的口译工作。
• 可长期配合固定夜班工作。
• 拥有安静、安全且稳定的居家办公环境。
• 马来西亚申请者需至少拥有 SPM 学历。

以下经验将优先考虑

• 曾担任医疗、法院或专业口译员。
• 具备医疗、保险、法律、紧急服务或客户服务相关工作经验。
• 持有口译相关专业认证（如 CHIA、NBCMI、CCHI 或同等资格）。
• 具备电话口译或视频口译经验。
• 熟悉医疗隐私（HIPAA）或法院口译规范。

About the role

This is interpretation work that matters. You'll be the voice that bridges Mandarin and English speakers in moments that count — a patient describing symptoms in an emergency room, a family member on a 911 call, an insurance claim after an accident, a court proceeding that will shape someone's future. We're hiring interpreters with the emotional intelligence to hold space for difficult conversations and the composure to deliver accuracy under pressure. Permanent work-from-home. Permanent night shift. Full commitment expected.

What you'll do

• Deliver accurate consecutive interpretation between Mandarin and English via phone and video
• Handle high-stakes calls across healthcare, emergency services (911), law enforcement, courts, insurance, government, finance, utilities, travel, and general business
• Convey meaning, tone, and intent — not just words — while remaining neutral and professional
• Navigate emotionally charged conversations with empathy, composure, and discretion
• Explain cultural nuances when language alone isn't enough
• Use industry-specific terminology with precision, especially in medical and emergency contexts
• Maintain strict confidentiality and follow client protocols on every call

What you'll bring

Must-have

• Native or near-native fluency in Mandarin, including ability to read and write Chinese characters
• Minimum C1 CEFR English proficiency (written and spoken)
• High emotional intelligence — ability to stay calm, neutral, and composed during distressing, urgent, or emotionally heavy calls
• Strong concentration, active listening, retention, and note-taking under pressure
• Resilience to handle sensitive content (medical emergencies, accidents, legal matters) without it affecting performance
• Ability to follow client instructions precisely and adapt quickly to different industries within the same shift
• Permanent night shift availability and a quiet, secure home work environment
• Minimum SPM (Malaysian applicants)

Preferred (will fast-track your application)

• Prior experience as a medical interpreter, healthcare interpreter, or court interpreter
• Background in healthcare, emergency services, legal, or insurance customer support
• Certification in interpretation (CHIA, NBCMI, CCHI, or equivalent)
• Experience with consecutive interpretation in high-volume call environments
• Familiarity with HIPAA, patient privacy, or court interpretation protocols

This is a demanding role and we hire only candidates who can give it full focus. We will not consider applicants who are currently studying, holding a daytime full-time job, unwilling to discontinue part-time or freelance work, or carrying other commitments that may affect night-shift availability. Night-shift interpretation requires sustained concentration — partial commitment compromises both you and the people on the other end of the line.
