Mandarin Translator

Position Overview

We are looking for a communicative and detail-oriented Mandarin Translator to facilitate effective communication between Mandarin-speaking clients, partners, and internal teams. You will be responsible for translating and interpreting conversations, documents, and business communications between Mandarin and Indonesian or English, ensuring accuracy and clarity in every interaction.

This role requires strong Mandarin language skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of Chinese culture and business practices. It is a great opportunity for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who are interested in language, cross-cultural communication, and supporting business operations in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide Mandarin–Bahasa Indonesia translation and interpretation for meetings, documents, communications, and business activities.
• Communicate and coordinate with Mandarin-speaking partners and stakeholders.
• Assist in gathering and translating market, customer, and partner insights to support business and product initiatives.
• Support internal teams such as Operations, Marketing, and Product in communication and coordination with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
• Assist with product-related discussions, testing, implementation, and follow-up with Chinese partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's (S1) degree in any major. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with Mandarin language proficiency and experience in translation, interpretation, or related fields are preferred.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English, both spoken and written; minimum HSK 5 for Mandarin.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with a customer-oriented mindset.
• Understanding of Chinese culture and business etiquette, with strong cross-cultural communication skills.
