About the Role

Xin Dynasty is seeking a talented Mandarin Translator to join our growing team in Davao City, Davao del Sur. This full-time position plays a vital role in supporting communication between our Filipino and Chinese management, suppliers, clients, and business partners.

As a Mandarin Translator, you will provide accurate written translations and verbal interpretation to support our daily operations in the trucking and logistics industry. You will work closely with management and various departments to ensure smooth communication, helping maintain efficient business operations and strong international partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate documents, emails, reports, contracts, manuals, and other business materials between Mandarin Chinese and English.
• Provide interpretation during meetings, site visits, phone calls, and discussions with Mandarin-speaking clients, suppliers, and company representatives.
• Assist management in communicating with Chinese-speaking employees, partners, and stakeholders.
• Proofread and edit translated documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and professionalism.
• Maintain translation records and ensure consistent use of business and technical terminology.
• Support departments such as Operations, HR, Accounting, Purchasing, and Administration with translation and interpretation needs.
• Assist in preparing multilingual reports, presentations, and administrative documents.
• Handle urgent translation requests while maintaining a high standard of quality.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive business information.

What We're Looking For

• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) and English, with excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience as a translator, interpreter, or in a similar bilingual role is preferred.
• Strong understanding of business communication and Chinese-Filipino cultural differences.
• Excellent grammar, writing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with translation software or CAT tools.
• Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, automotive, manufacturing, or a corporate environment is an advantage.
• Translation or interpreting certification is a plus.
