M&E Consultant (Mechanical Engineer) - Based in Singapore

About the role

We are looking for a M&E Consultant to join an established M&E consultancy firm in Singapore. This is a good opportunity for engineers with around 3–5 years of M&E consultancy experience who are looking to take on greater project ownership and gain more exposure to clients, consultants, contractors and authorities. You will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from design and tender preparation through construction and ultimately TOP/CSC.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare M&E designs, calculations, tender documents and drawings.
• Prepare and coordinate authority submissions.
• Liaise with owners, clients, architects, consultants and contractors.
• Attend project and technical meetings and provide engineering support.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor M&E works.
• Provide technical support during the construction stage through TOP/CSC.
• Assist the Qualified Person (QP) with project-related matters.
• Handle mainly mechanical systems, including ACMV / HVAC, Fire Protection, and Sanitary & Plumbing.
• Support electrical-related works when required, with training provided.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience, preferably from an M&E consultancy firm.
• Experience in commercial and industrial projects is preferred.
• Good knowledge of M&E design, Singapore regulations and relevant codes of practice.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Comfortable attending site visits and project meetings when required.
