M&E Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an M&E Coordinator on a contract basis. This role is based in Banting, Selangor and offers an exciting opportunity to coordinate mechanical and electrical systems on projects. As M&E Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless integration and installation of mechanical and electrical components, supporting the engineering team in delivering high-quality solutions that meet project specifications and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily M&E site activities and subcontractors.
• Monitor installation progress to ensure compliance with project specifications and schedule.
• Coordinate with civil, architectural, and M&E teams to resolve site issues.
• Attend site meetings and prepare progress updates.
• Ensure work complies with quality, safety, and project requirements.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in M&E coordination for building, industrial, or data centre projects.
• Able to interpret M&E construction drawings and shop drawings.
• Familiar with M&E installation, testing & commissioning (T&C), QA/QC, and authority inspections.
• Good coordination and communication skills to liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and the main contractor.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD (knowledge of BIM/Revit is an advantage).
• Able to work independently and manage site activities.
• Able to start immediately and a 6-month contract.
