M&E COORDINATOR

• Check all M&E drawings for discrepencies with Architectural & Structural drawings and control of M&E drawings on-site.

• Coordinate, supervise & monitor all M&E subcontractors on-site work & manpower.

• Conduct M&E coordination meeting with all M&E subcontractors.

• Ensure installations are carried out according to tender technical specification, drawings & check quality of workmanship.

• Liaises with client, consultant and local authorities for M&E works.

• Arranges for inspection with consultants / clients / authorities on M&E works.

• Troubleshooting and resolving M&E-related issues to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality.

• Provide input for variation orders related to M&E scope. (if receive new layout from main-con, client, consultant)

• Preparing detailed reports, drawings, and other technical documentation as required.

• Assist in preparing O&M manuals and as-built drawings at project completion.

• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, construction coordination, quantity take-off, and project costing.

• Any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience specifically as an M&E Coordinator.
• Experience in government (JKR or equivalent) projects is required.
• Familiar with authority requirements, submissions, and compliance procedures.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, construction coordination, and site practices.
• Able to read and review technical drawings (AutoCAD knowledge preferred).
• Good leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
• Willing to work at project site at Pulau Indah Klang.
