M&E Coordinator

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have experience in a wide range of M&E disciplines and be able represent the main contractor as the M&E professional to lead the M&E subcontractors and liaise with all consultants for the project.

Job Description

·         Monitor and report on the progress of work to project manager.

·         Prepare method statements and check drawing discrepancies.

·         Carry out project planning, design, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and documentation.

·         Control the progress of RFA, RFI, Shop Drawings, Technical Submissions and Equipment/Material Procurement/Fabrication/Delivery Status for on-time completion.

·         Ensure good MEP drawing management and the control of MEP documentation/filing on site

·         Coordinate with client’s representatives, consultants, and subcontractors on all technical matters, including submission of method statement, drawings, materials, samples and work progress.

·         Control site progress & installation quality as per approved Shop Drawings, Technical Submissions and Equipment/Material Procurement/Fabrication/Delivery Schedule for on-time completion.

·         Assist in supervising and coordinating MEP services work closely with other departments.

·         Assist for submission of evaluation of progress claim, variation work.

·         Participate in all relevant project review meetings, site meetings, design meetings, and other project relevant meetings.

·         Responsible for carrying out M&E technical meetings and resolving technical issues with record.

·         Responsible for M&E drawing coordination and production of CSD and individual service drawings quality.

·         Provide and maintain all site inspection records & T&C records up to date.

·         Responsible for conducting QA/QC inspection, managing RE, RTO and responsible for clearing QA/QC inspections to meet with construction schedule.

Requirements

·         Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering

·         Experience in healthcare projects is preferred.

·         Minimum 8 years’ work experience related projects in Singapore building and construction industry

·         Possess strong Electrical/Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experiences.

·         Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate with site teams to execute work

·         Experience in design and build is an advantage

·         Use of AutoCad would be an advantage
