M&E Coordinator / Services Coordinator

Location: Dublin and surrounding counties

Salary: €65,000 to €75,000 + vehicle and pension

Overview

I’m recruiting an M&E Coordinator for a main contractor with a varied pipeline of projects across Leinster. This is a role for someone who enjoys being involved on site, working with different project teams and seeing the building services through to handover.

You’ll support several projects across sectors including healthcare, residential, commercial and education.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical and electrical works with site teams, consultants and specialist subcontractors.
• Review drawings and technical information, raising design queries and resolving issues before they delay installation.
• Keep track of M&E subcontractor progress against the construction programme.
• Help plan the procurement of plant, equipment and materials needed on site.
• Check the quality of installations and work with the team to close out defects.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, certification and handover of building services.
• Provide M&E input during pre-construction when required.

Requirements

• A qualification in mechanical, electrical or building services engineering, or a related discipline.
• Ideally three or more years’ experience in M&E coordination or a similar building services role.
• Experience with a main contractor, M&E contractor, specialist contractor or engineering consultancy.
• A good understanding of building services installation and commissioning.
• The ability to manage subcontractors and communicate clearly with site and design teams.
• A full driving licence and flexibility to travel between projects.

Package

Salary - €65,000 to €75,000 , Company expensed vehicle and pension.
