M&E Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with main contract and subcontract requirements.
• Review and coordinate M&E design drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications, relevant standards, and guidelines.
• Prepare combined services drawings and liaise with consultants, clients, and relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate and monitor M&E subcontractors' work progress, including the submission and approval of drawings, materials, samples, and method statements.
• Coordinate and supervise M&E works with clients' representatives, consultants, and subcontractors on technical and site-related matters.
• Ensure all M&E works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress to ensure M&E works are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with applicable codes of practice and safety regulations.
• Attend site meetings and coordination meetings as required.
• Identify and resolve technical issues arising during project execution.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. A Specialist Diploma in M&E Coordination recognized by relevant local authorities will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as an M&E Coordinator in Singapore's construction industry, preferably with Facility Management experience.
• Good knowledge of Singapore construction standards, statutory requirements, and M&E regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret M&E drawings and technical specifications.
• Good coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently, take initiative, and maintain a positive working attitude.
• Responsible, organized, and able to meet project deadlines.
