M&E Engineer (Building)

About the role

Pamir Development Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Project Engineer (M&E) to join our project team in Johor Bahru.

The role focuses on M&E coordination,  coordination drawings and site progress for high-rise residential and commercial building projects.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Coordinate M&E works with consultants, subcontractors and site teams.
2. Manage M&E subcontractors on technical coordination, submissions, installation and work progress.
3. Prepare, review and coordinate M&E coordination/shop drawings and identify clashes with architectural and structural works.
4. Use AutoCAD at an advanced level to independently prepare and amend coordination drawings.
5. Monitor site installation and progress against the project programme.
6. Resolve M&E technical, coordination and site issues to minimise rework and delays.
7. Coordinate builders' work, testing & commissioning, authority inspections and handover.
8. Attend technical and progress meetings and follow up on outstanding matters.

What We're Looking For

1. Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering or related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of M&E experience in building construction.
3. Experience in high-rise residential and/or commercial projects.
4. Advanced AutoCAD skills with the ability to independently prepare M&E coordination drawings.
5. Good knowledge of electrical, ELV, ACMV/HVAC, plumbing, sanitary and fire protection systems.
6. Able to read and coordinate architectural, structural and M&E drawings.
7. Strong in subcontractor management, site coordination and progress monitoring.
8. Good communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
