M&E Engineer

About the role

Enterprise DC M&E Engineer role supporting mission-critical data center environments in the finance industry. The role involves providing operational support, incident and problem management, cost and contract support, change management, vendor management, and oversight of M&E infrastructure including UPS, generators, cooling, and power distribution systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely reporting and escalation of operational issues to designated Client contacts
• Coordinate information flow during M&E related incidents and provide regular incident status updates
• Review incident reports and prepare periodic trend summaries
• Track post-incident actions and remediation items to closure
• Support preparation of operating budgets related to M&E services
• Review vendor invoices for scope and contractual alignment
• Ensure M&E related changes follow agreed change processes with appropriate documentation and reporting
• Coordinate with third-party service providers to monitor compliance with Health & Safety requirements and performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs
• Support oversight of vendor-generated documentation including works method statements, risk assessments, and permit-to-work submissions
• Provide oversight and coordination support for routine and ad-hoc M&E maintenance activities within data centers

About you

• Demonstrated experience delivering M&E engineering services in mission-critical or data center environments
• Capability to support services within regulated or financial services environments
• Familiarity with structured service management practices (e.g. incident, change, and problem management)
