M&E Engineer

Key Activities:

1.      Design and Specifications:

·       Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.

·       Develop detailed designs and specifications for M&E systems, including HVAC, electrical wiring, plumbing, fire protection, and more.

2.      Site Inspections:

·       Conduct regular site visits to inspect the installation of M&E systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards.

3.      Coordination with Contractors:

·       Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure that materials and equipment meet project requirements.

4.      Testing and Commissioning:

·       Oversee the testing and commissioning of M&E systems to verify their performance and safety.

5.      Problem Solving:

·       Identify and resolve any issues related to M&E installations, working closely with the project team to implement solutions.

6.      Budget and Cost Management:

·       Monitor and control M&E costs, ensuring that the project stays within budget.

7.      Safety Compliance:

·       Ensure that all M&E work adheres to safety regulations and that workers are trained in safe practices.
