M&E Engineer

We are looking for an experienced M&E Engineer with strong expertise in mechanical and electrical works to join our construction team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of local experience in coordinating M&E services for building and infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth project execution, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective collaboration between consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all M&E works to ensure alignment with design specifications, project schedule, and quality standards.
• Review technical drawings, shop drawings, and construction plans to identify discrepancies and provide solutions.
• Liaise with consultants, architects, subcontractors, and project managers to resolve technical and site issues.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Monitor M&E progress on site, track work schedules, and prepare progress reports.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical input on M&E matters.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover of M&E systems.
• Need to issue MR for qs to order materials.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of relevant M&E coordination experience in Singapore construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of local codes, regulations, and submission procedures.
• Proficient in reviewing drawings and technical specifications.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
