M&E Engineer

Role Overview

Support the planning, designcoordination, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of M&Eworks, ensuring compliance with project specifications, schedules, statutoryrequirements, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate M&E works with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.

Review drawings, specifications, and BIM models to identify design gaps, clashes, and constructability issues.

Coordinate combined services drawings, technical submissions, RFIs, shop drawings, and approvals.

Monitor installation progress, work sequencing, and quality to ensure timely completion.

Track variations, claims, and cost impacts, supporting project budget control.

Conduct inspections and maintain records of materials, installations, and completed works.

Support testing, commissioning, system integration, and project closeout.

Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, change management procedures, and quality, environmental, health, and safety requirements.

Requirements

Degree in Building Services, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.

3–5 years of experience in building and construction projects.

MEP-focused Design-and-Build exposure and main contractor experience are desirable.

Ability to interpret multidisciplinary drawings and coordinate CSD and BIM models.

Practical knowledge of MEP installation, sequencing, testing, and commissioning.

Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and time management skills.
