M&E Engineer

About the role

We are seeking motivated and reliable M&E Engineers to join our expanding team in Malaysia. Multiple positions are available across our project sites in Banting, Selangor / KL / Penang / Nilai. This is an excellent opportunity to work on challenging, high-profile projects with a globally recognized construction leader.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of M&E works for assigned project
• Support superior and project manager in daily operations, site supervision, and technical problem-solving
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
• Prepare and review technical documents, drawings, method statements, and progress reports
• Ensure all M&E installations comply with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements
• Monitor site activities and coordinate with other disciplines to resolve technical issues
• Participate in site meetings, inspections, and commissioning activities

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of relevant M&E experience in construction or engineering environments
• Proven track record in M&E coordination and site supervision
• Hands-on knowledge of M&E systems, installation methods, and construction processes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively in multicultural teams
• Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills
• Familiarity with Bomba requirements and relevant government regulations
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken
