M&E Facilities Engineer (M&E Contractor / ACMV)

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily M&E services and building facilities operations, providing primary operational support and backup to the Site Lead.

• Ensure the safe, reliable, and continuous performance of site ACMV, mechanical ventilation, lighting, fire protection, plumbing, and sanitary systems.

• Perform routine technical inspections across all M&E systems, troubleshoot operational faults, and drive timely issue resolution.

• Oversee work order execution, preventive maintenance schedules, defect inspections, and rectification works with external contractors.

• Coordinate subcontractor activities, ensuring work meets established operational standards, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.

• Verify completed vendor works and audit supporting service documentation to facilitate billing and payment processing.

• Identify operational bottlenecks, implementing cost-reduction initiatives and process improvements across facilities management.

• Maintain complete operational documentation, equipment logs, and regular site performance reports for leadership.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management, or a related field.

• 3 to 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in M&E systems, ACMV, building services, or facility operations.

• Practical experience in the operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of ACMV, ventilation, lighting, fire protection, plumbing, and sanitary infrastructure.

• Proven vendor management, contractor coordination, and work order administration capabilities.

• Strong problem-solving skills, detail orientation, and sound knowledge of workplace safety standards.
