M&E MANAGER

What you'll be doing

1. Oversee the planning, design, and installation of mechanical and electrical systems on assigned projects
2. Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery
3. Monitor project budgets and manage MEP-related costs, ensuring projects remain within financial parameters
4. Conduct site inspections and quality audits to verify compliance with design specifications and safety standards
5. Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for MEP systems
6. Manage and supervise MEP contractors, subcontractors, and technical staff on-site
7. Identify and resolve technical issues and conflicts that arise during installation and commissioning phases
8. Ensure all work complies with relevant Singapore building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
9. Maintain accurate project records, progress reports, and documentation for all MEP activities
10. Liaise with clients and stakeholders to communicate project status and address concerns

What we're looking for

1. Professional qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional certification recognised in Singapore
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical and electrical systems management within the construction or fit-out industry
3. Strong knowledge of MEP design principles, building services systems, and installation methodologies
4. Proficiency in relevant MEP software and CAD applications
5. Proven experience in project management, including budget control and schedule management
6. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and technical acumen
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
9. Experience in coordinating with consultants, contractors, and government authorities
10. Knowledge of health and safety management practices on construction sites
