M&E Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced M&E Manager to oversee and manage all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works for high-rise building construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring of M&E activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee all Mechanical & Electrical works throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate M&E activities with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and relevant authorities.
Review and monitor M&E design drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and technical submissions.
Ensure M&E installations comply with project specifications, local regulations, and industry standards.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
Attend project coordination meetings and provide technical support to project teams.
Manage testing, commissioning, and handover of M&E systems.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
Evaluate subcontractor performance and ensure work is carried out according to approved schedules.
Prepare progress reports, cost forecasts, and project updates for management.
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in M&E construction works, with substantial experience in high-rise building projects.
Strong knowledge of M&E systems, construction practices, and local authority requirements.
Experience in project planning, coordination, testing, and commissioning.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
Able to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
