M&E Project Engineer [ ACMV / Data Centre ]

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for execution and overall progress of M&E construction project contracts
• Monitor installation progress and coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure timely project delivery
• Report project progress to the Project Manager and track milestones
• Supervise works to ensure compliance with contract drawings and specifications
• Prepare method statements, shop drawings, installation/testing & commissioning (T&C) check sheets, progress reports, and related documentation
• Coordinate with subcontractors and consultants on shop drawing preparation and submission
• Prepare and coordinate technical submissions with suppliers and subcontractors
• Support the Project Manager in procurement and negotiation of materials, equipment, and manpower within approved budget
• Conduct technical discussions with stakeholders to resolve site and engineering issues
• Liaise with authorities, subcontractors, and clients on submissions, inspections, testing, and commissioning requirements

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in construction / M&E project environment

• Experience in Data Centre (ACMV) will be an advantage

• Strong technical knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

  • ACMV Systems: VAV, VRV, chillers, cooling towers, chilled water piping, A&A works
  • Fire Protection Systems: Installation, testing & commissioning, and compliance with local regulations

• Hands-on experience in site coordination, installation supervision, and project execution within construction projects
