M&E QAQC/Engineer

About the role

A quality control role responsible for managing and controlling the quality of production processes, conducting inspections, analyzing quality issues, and implementing improvements across manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Control the quality of production processes according to quality systems and relevant requirements, recording data and analyzing root causes of problems
• Instruct and supervise inspectors to perform incoming raw material inspection and analyze abnormalities
• Manage documents and drawings within the scope of duties
• Supervise inspectors to check and record the quality of pre-delivery processes according to drawings and inspection standards
• Sample product quality at each process stage and suggest improvements
• Perform strict quality control on suppliers selected by the procurement department and provide timely feedback on unqualified problems
• Analyze and deal with quality accidents, propose improvement measures, and implement the quality accident assessment system
• Investigate and analyze non-conforming product assessment, disposal, customer complaints, and site quality disputes
• Check the implementation of quality processing results
• Prepare annual, monthly and weekly quality statistical reports, product quality improvement reports, and quality management reports

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in MEP
• Able to interpret precast drawings
• Good problem-solving skills
• Cost awareness
• Able to work under pressure and multi-tasking
• Willing to travel in Malaysia
• Positive working attitude
• Basic English and Mandarin communication and writing skills preferred
