M&E Quantity Surveyor

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• Preferable with 2-5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Entry level candidates are welcome to apply.
• Preferably specialized in Engineering - Electrical or equivalent.
• 5 days work week.
• Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and meet tight tender deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates, review tender drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Take off quantities accurately from drawings and prepare detailed cost breakdowns.
• Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Analyze supplier and subcontractor quotations for competitiveness and compliance.
• Prepare tender pricing, cost comparisons, and value engineering proposals.
• Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings when required.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, consultants, and clients during the tender process.
• Prepare clarifications and respond to tender queries.
• Ensure all tender submissions are completed accurately and submitted within deadlines.
• Maintain an updated database of material, labour, and subcontractor costs.
• Assist in contract award, handover to the project team, and budget preparation.
