M&E Quantity Surveyor

Job Description: M&E Quantity Surveyor

Project: Penang LRT Project
Work Location: Penang Island, Malaysia

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BQ) and cost estimates for M&E works.
• Assist in tender preparation, quotation evaluation and subcontractor procurement.
• Review and verify subcontractor progress claims and payment applications.
• Assist in preparing and evaluating variation orders (VO) and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs and assist in cost control.
• Prepare subcontract documents, payment certificates and commercial reports.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and site teams on M&E works.
• Maintain proper records of contracts, claims and other commercial documents.

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 3 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
• Good knowledge of quantity surveying and contract administration.
• Exposure to M&E works, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC or plumbing.
• Good communication, analytical and coordination skills.
• Willing to work in Penang Island.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
