Job Role: Manhattan WMS Functional Architect (Manhattan Active OMS & WMS)

Work Type: Contract (6 months, with extension)

Location: Remote (USA – EST & CST preferred )

• Global Template Development & Governance
• Configuration & Development Support
• Testing, Deployment & Quality
• Collaboration & Knowledge Transfer

Required Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in WMS/OMS solution design, functional architecture, product consulting or implementation
• Strong hands-on functional expertise in Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM)
• Demonstrated experience translating warehouse operational requirements into functional solution designs
• Deep understanding of warehouse processes, including receiving, inventory, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping and fulfillment
• Experience with Manhattan Active configuration concepts, capabilities and limitations
• Proven ability to conduct Fit-to-Template and GAP analyses
• Experience designing solutions across complex integrations and enterprise application landscapes
• Understanding of configuration, APIs, extension development and their functional implications
• Experience supporting implementations through design, testing, deployment and stabilization
• Ability to work independently, challenge proposed solutions and influence design decisions
• Strong communication skills in English and experience working with international delivery teams.

Preferred Requirements:

• Practical functional experience with Manhattan Active Order Management (MAO)
• Experience integrating MAO and MAWM into end-to-end order fulfillment processes
• Experience developing or maintaining a reusable global WMS/OMS template
• Experience working with large-scale, multi-customer or multi-site implementations
• Experience within a 3PL / Contract Logistics environment
• Familiarity with Manhattan Active extensions and configuration deployment practices
• Experience working within a centralized Center of Excellence or global product organization
• Experience providing functional guidance to distributed configuration and development teams
