Manual Dump Truck Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking skilled and reliable CDL Class B licensed Manual Dump Truck Operators to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for providing reliable hauling services for construction, landscaping, and municipal projects. This role requires an individual able to drive a manual dump truck, has understanding of heavy equipment operation and mechanical knowledge, and able to make a commitment to safety, efficiency and quality customer service. Responsibilities

• Operate Automatic and Manual Dump Trucks Safely: Safely transport materials to and from job sites, ensuring adherence to all traffic and safety regulations.
• Follow Safety Protocols: Consistently apply company safety standards and regulatory requirements to protect yourself, your coworkers, and the public.
• Maintain Equipment: Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and identify mechanical issues. Report any major equipment malfunctions to management for repair.
• Efficient Operation: Operate manual and dump trucks and related equipment in an efficient and effective manner to minimize downtime and ensure timely deliveries.
• Customer Service: Represent the company professionally at all times while interacting with clients and job site personnel. Address any customer concerns or issues in a friendly, solution-oriented manner.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of trips, cargo loads, deliveries, and inspections.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating manual transmission dump trucks.
• Strong knowledge of safety guidelines and regulations related to truck operations.
• Basic mechanical skills to perform routine maintenance and inspections.
• Ability to read and follow instructions, maps, and other paperwork related to deliveries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer service.
• Driving record will be reviewed by our insurance company for approval.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Pre-employment drug screening required.
• Background checks required, based on job assignment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour
