Manual / Functional QA Engineer | 12-Month Contract

Hours: Central Time overlap required

Initial contract: 12 months, with extension anticipated

Empiric is seeking Manual QA Engineers to support functional, integration and regression testing for a large-scale Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform.

Responsibilities:

• Test product discovery, cart, checkout, payments, promotions and subscriptions.

• Create and execute functional, regression, integration and exploratory tests.

• Perform API testing with Postman and cross-browser testing with BrowserStack.

• Document defects, verify fixes and collaborate with developers and automation engineers.

• Support scheduled releases, including alternate-Tuesday deployments starting at 10pm Central Time and occasional scheduled weekend work.

Requirements:

• Ideally 4–8 years in QA, including e-commerce testing.

• SFCC or comparable digital commerce platform experience.

• Postman, BrowserStack and TestRail or equivalent tools.

• Strong understanding of customer journeys, order processing and defect management.

• SFRA and basic Playwright/TypeScript knowledge beneficial.
