Manual Milling Operator

Osborne Engineering is looking for an experienced Manual Milling Operator to join our Production team in Dubai.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating manual milling machines, producing components according to engineering drawings and required specifications, and maintaining quality and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate manual milling machines safely and efficiently.

Read and interpret engineering drawings and machining specifications.

Set up machines, workpieces, cutting tools and fixtures.

Perform milling, drilling, slotting and other machining operations as required.

Measure and inspect finished components using appropriate measuring instruments.

Maintain required dimensional accuracy and surface finish.

Follow production schedules and quality requirements.

Perform routine machine checks and maintain a clean and safe work area.

Report machining or equipment issues to the supervisor.

Follow company HSE and production procedures.

Requirements

3–5 years of relevant experience as a Manual Milling Operator/Machinist.

Strong knowledge of manual milling machine operations and tooling.

Ability to read and understand engineering/technical drawings.

Knowledge of measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers and gauges.

Good understanding of machining processes, tolerances and dimensions.

Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.

Commitment to safety, quality and production targets.

Experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment is preferred.
