Summary

:

Manual QA Engineer responsible for test design, test execution, defect tracking, and quality assurance activities across web, mobile, and digital applications. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software releases in an Agile environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and functional requirements to understand testing scope.
• Create, review, and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Validate software quality across web and mobile applications.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-up, and retrospectives.
• Prepare test reports and communicate testing progress, risks, and quality status.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production release validation.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and project requirements.

Skills / Competencies:

Essential:

• 2+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Manual Testing.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Hands-on experience in test case design, test execution, defect reporting, and test documentation.
• Experience in functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience testing web applications or mobile applications.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Preferred:

• Experience in Android application testing and mobile device validation.
• Hands-on experience with ADB (Android Debug Bridge) and log analysis.
• Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Exposure to test automation frameworks or scripting languages.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
• Experience testing connected devices, embedded systems, or hardware-integrated applications.
• Experience working in global or distributed teams.
• Domain knowledge in Consumer Electronics, Mobile Applications, Digital Platforms, Banking, or Enterprise Applications.
