Job Description We are looking for an experienced Manual Test Engineer / QA Engineer with 6+ years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in manual testing, defect management, API testing, database testing, regression testing, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience in the Healthcare domain, particularly Billing and Scheduling workflows, is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, UI, and end-to-end testing of web applications.
• Test healthcare applications involving Billing and Scheduling workflows.
• Perform cross-browser and UI testing.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using tools such as Jira.
• Perform SQL/database testing and validation to verify data accuracy and integrity.
• Conduct API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to investigate and resolve defects.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Maintain test documentation and provide clear test execution and defect reports.
• Contribute to automation testing using Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Identify quality risks proactively and recommend improvements to testing processes.
• Adapt to new technologies, tools, and testing methodologies as required.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience as a Test Engineer / QA Engineer.
• Strong experience in Manual Testing and web application testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience in test case, test scenario, and test script preparation.
• Strong experience in Defect Management and Jira.
• Strong SQL and Database Testing/Validation skills.
• Hands-on experience in API Testing and Postman.
• Strong experience in Regression Testing.
• Good knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Healthcare domain experience, preferably in Billing and Scheduling.

Good to Have

• Selenium WebDriver experience.
• Knowledge of JUnit / TestNG.
• Experience developing or maintaining automated test scripts.
• ISTQB or equivalent certification.
• Experience with healthcare workflows such as patient scheduling, billing, claims, payments, or EHR systems.
