Manual Tester

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of trading applications and software platforms.
• Create and execute test cases based on business and functional requirements.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
• Validate trading workflows such as order placement, execution, modification, and cancellation.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using tools like Jira.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure product quality.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Manual Testing.
• Hands-on experience testing Trading Applications/Software.
• Understanding of trading concepts such as Order Management, Trade Lifecycle, and Market Data.
• Experience in test case design, defect tracking, and test execution.
• Knowledge of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Capital Markets/Financial Services domain.
• Basic SQL and API testing knowledge.
• Familiarity with Jira or similar defect management tools.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, or related field.
