Job Title: Manual Tester (13 Years Experience)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Shift Time: 10:00am - 7:30pm

Job Summary

• We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications.
• The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in test case design, execution, defect reporting, and a strong understanding of software testing fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Execute test cases and ensure test coverage across the application.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and QA leads to ensure timely bug resolution.
• Participate in test planning, review meetings, and sprint activities (Agile/Scrum).
• Perform sanity and smoke testing on new builds.
• Validate UI/UX alignment with requirements.
• Prepare test reports and maintain documentation.
• Ensure adherence to testing best practices and quality standards.

Required Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in manual functional testing.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience writing clear and concise test cases.
• Good understanding of bug lifecycle and test methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, QC, etc.).
• Basic understanding of database testing (SQL queries).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good to have exposure to API testing (Postman).
• Knowledge of automation basics (Selenium).
• Experience with mobile or web testing.
• Understanding of version control tools like Git.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
