Manufacturing Accountant

Manufacturing Accountant-

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Accountant to support daily accounting operations with a primary focus on Accounts Payable (AP) and cost-related activities. This position will also provide support in Accounts Receivable, cash application, data management, inventory and fixed asset activities, and month-end closing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Accounts Payable and cost-related activities.
• Assist with Accounts Receivable (AR) activities as needed.
• Manage cash applications, including credit card payments, wire/ACH transactions, and checks.
• Prepare and maintain Excel-based cost analysis and reports.
• Maintain accurate AP and vendor/customer master data files.
• Manage shared costs and recharge costs, ensuring accurate supporting data.
• Participate in inventory and fixed asset physical counts.
• Assist with month-end closing activities.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and supporting documentation.

Qualifications:

• Experience in general accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable and cost accounting processes.
• Experience with Accounts Receivable and cash application is a plus, but not required.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to analyze and organize financial data.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
