A bit about us: We are an established plastics manufacturer seeking a Manufacturing Controller for our Fairview, Pennsylvania operation. This role supports accurate financial reporting and partners with manufacturing leadership to understand costs, inventory and operating performance.

Job Details Manufacturing Controller | Fairview, PA

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day manufacturing accounting and maintain accurate financial records.
• Lead month-end and year-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, work in process and production variances.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for plant operations.
• Maintain internal controls and support audits and compliance with accounting standards.
• Partner with production and business leadership to identify cost trends and improve financial visibility.
• Improve accounting processes and reporting through effective use of ERP systems and Excel.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of manufacturing accounting experience is REQUIRED.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory accounting and financial reporting in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, budgeting and variance analysis.
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting or ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical ability and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior Controller, Assistant Controller or Accounting Manager experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in plastics manufacturing or extrusion.
