Champion product reliability through advanced engineering diagnostics, proactive troubleshooting, and disciplined root-cause problem solving. Orchestrate critical supplier and interface management across the full product lifecycle to ensure robust quality, manufacturability, and peak product performance.
Key responsibilities
- Troubleshoot high-voltage issues including arcing, leakage, instability, and insulation breakdown, and drive structured root-cause analysis to closure.
- Provide timely technical solutions to Customer Support Engineers during field escalations and customer-impacting product issues.
- Disposition non-conforming products and work closely with suppliers on quality improvement, process control, and continuous improvement actions.
- Respond to failure analysis requests and provide comprehensive analysis reports to field support teams or customers. Define and implement corrective actions in a systematic and sustainable manner.
- Partner with the materials team on product cost reduction, end-of-life component replacement, manufacturing site relocation, and other engineering support needs.
- Create engineering change orders for product changes and ensure proper implementation through manufacturing and supplier interfaces.
- Be accountable for supplier quality and out-of-box quality yield. Audit supplier processes and quality controls when required.
- Support design teams on ICT and functional test setup. Understand product test theory and provide guidance for product repair and troubleshooting.
- Transfer test solutions to PCBA suppliers and train supplier teams to handle product build, test, repair, and troubleshooting effectively.
- Represent manufacturing in design reviews. Provide DFM and DFT inputs to ensure new designs meet manufacturability, testability, documentation, and production release requirements.
About you

- Positive mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Able to work under pressure and willing to take on technical and operational challenges.
- Strong planning discipline and ability to execute to committed schedules.
- Strong knowledge of high-voltage power supplies for low-current applications, analog circuits, noise filtering, signal integrity, encapsulation processes, and related technologies.
- Experience with image data acquisition systems or motion control systems is preferred.
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to resolve circuit failures at both bench and system level.
- Basic knowledge of PCBA manufacturing processes and quality control systems.
- Team player with good written and verbal communication skills.
