Manufacturing Engineer (Assembly Shop)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and improve assembly line processes to enhance productivity and efficiency JPH.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles (Kaizen, Six Sigma, 5S, TPS).
• Optimize station layout and material flow for smooth operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly line issues affecting productivity, quality, or safety.
• Support new vehicle model launches by validating processes, tools, and materials.
• Ensure smooth Start of Production (SOP) for new models and engineering changes OIS
• Analyze defect trends and implement root cause analysis (8D, FMEA, PDCA).
• Implement error-proofing (Poka-Yoke) solutions to minimize defects.
• Ensure all processes comply with workplace safety regulations and ergonomics standards.
• Monitor KPIs (OEE, FTT, cycle time, takt time, defect rate) to drive improvements.
• Others tasks as assigned by manager.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the automotive industry, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Experience in automotive assembly processes preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and meticulous quality assurance mindset.

• Effective communication of technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Excellent communication in English and Thai; Chinese proficiency a plus.
