Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Manufacturing Engineering Section Head and support overall Manufacturing Engineering activities.
• Support engineering projects, including time studies, standard time establishment, work combination analysis, process preparation, manufacturing process control, and production improvement activities.
• Analyse manufacturing process defects, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions to improve quality and process performance.
• Support IATF 16949 requirements by maintaining and following Process Flow Charts, Control Plans, FMEA, Engineering Technical Standards, Work Standards, and other relevant manufacturing documentation.
• Drive productivity improvements, including Jobs Per Hour (JPH), cycle time, process efficiency, and production line performance.
• Manage new engineering and manufacturing projects to achieve required quality standards, budgets, and project timelines.
• Coordinate the installation, trial, and validation of new machines and production lines for new projects, ensuring achievement of process design targets including OEE, cycle time, and defect reduction.
• Design, develop, and prepare tooling, jigs, fixtures, and equipment to support existing production and new model requirements.
• Support new model launches by coordinating with the APQP team, preparing required documentation, conducting production trials, and ensuring machines and processes are ready for mass production.
• Prepare, review, and support engineering change management activities, including Process Change Requests (PCR) and Engineering Change Requests (ECR).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing quality, productivity, cost efficiency, and process reliability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, preferably with an automotive background.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or a related production environment.
• Experience with fin forming, aluminium stamping, CAB brazing, aluminium surface treatment, and helium leak testing is an advantage.
• Experience with heat exchanger or automotive HVAC products and manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
• Good knowledge of statistical methods and quality tools used for manufacturing process analysis and improvement.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
• Familiar with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements and their application within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills, with the ability to support root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
• Good command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional and technical environment.
