Manufacturing Engineer

HR responsibilities:

·       Enforce occupational health and safety in production

·       Ensure the compliance in all company policy**.**

Knowledge responsibilities:

• New model development

• Line balancing and capacity improvement

• Lean Manufacturing

• Quality improvement

Functional responsibilities

• Lead capacity planning, process feasibility, and layout optimization together with production process flow, Tools and Equipment - Jigs-Fixture preparation

• Drive NPI, pilot builds, and validation

• Create/manage Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plan, line balancing, work instructions, Work allocation, process training including process change management

• Implement process improvements (quality, waste, output)

• Support the quality issue found from customer, quality or internal to develop the foolproof processes in order to enhance the quality level of the production.

• Working with production for on-the-job training, evaluation and develop the skill matrix across all projects.

• Collaborate with Quality, Production, Maintenance, Suppliers

• Apply Lean tools and Kaizen

• Ensure compliance with safety and ergonomic standards

Financial responsibility:

• Reduce the scrap/repair cost (cost of poor quality)

• Efficiency and productivity improvement

Internal/External Interactions:

Internal:

• Support and arrange for smooth launch by working with Product Development/ Program Management, Quality and Production

• Support and arrange the optimum material and process flow to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the production system by working with material planning, warehouse, STA and production.

• Support the Hight quality production process to meet all the quality standard and requirement from customer

External:

• Support the outside activities when customer request.

• Support the satellite plant as required.

Background and experience

• Bachelor’s degree on Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or other Engineering related fields with automotive OEM experiences is preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years up for engineer/ leader level. - Good personality and strong leadership skills. Must be able to work in dependable with flexible of working hours.
• Have experiences with new process setup and manufacturing process development
• Can design related works using Autocad
• Experiences with Jig Fixtures/ Tooling development
• Experience with premium automotive OEM would be advantage
• on quality, delivery timelines, and regulatory compliance in the automotive supply chain.
• Excellent English communication
