Manufacturing Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and proper functioning of plant machinery and equipment.
• Conduct and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other equipment-related problems.
• Coordinate with maintenance technicians regarding machine breakdowns and repairs.
• Monitor machine performance and identify causes of equipment downtime.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• Ensure that critical spare parts, tools, and maintenance materials are properly monitored.
• Assist in the installation, commissioning, testing, and modification of new machines and equipment.
• Monitor plant utilities and support equipment, such as compressors, pumps, cooling systems, electrical systems, and other related equipment.
• Conduct regular inspection of machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Recommend improvements to increase machine reliability, efficiency, and productivity.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Warehouse, and other departments regarding equipment and operational concerns.
• Assist in evaluating equipment requirements and preparing technical specifications when purchasing or replacing machinery.
• Prepare maintenance reports, equipment records, downtime reports, and other engineering documentation.
• Ensure that maintenance activities are performed in accordance with safety procedures and company standards.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable occupational safety, environmental, and engineering requirements.
• Supervise and provide technical guidance to maintenance personnel and technicians, when applicable.
• Participate in plant improvement, renovation, and engineering projects.
• Perform other related duties that may be assigned by management.

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
